ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
For those unfamiliar with the story, the exact inventor of the piña colada is debated to this day. One thing is for certain, the piña colada was born, raised, and forever lives in Puerto Rico. Join us the weekend after National Piña Colada Day in the heart of our beautiful island: Old San Juan. Over 40 bars and restaurants will be serving 6-ounce cocktails and desserts inspired by the world-famous drink for only $4. In addition to all types of coladas, there will be mojitos, margaritas, and even local beer. Desserts include gelatos, waffles, piraguas, & paletas.
Once you're here it's quite simple: visit the locations on the map above and try their creations. In between drinks, dance to live music or check out the artisan markets in the plazas. You can also take salsa lessons or learn how to paint the perfect piña colada. Afterwards, return to this site and tell us about your favorites. We'll see you at the festival, ¡Salud!
