ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
For those unfamiliar with the story, the exact inventor of the piña colada is debated to this day. One thing is for certain, the piña colada was born, raised, and forever lives in Puerto Rico. Join us on National Piña Colada Day in the heart of our beautiful island: Old San Juan. Numerous bars and restaurants will be serving their unique versions of the world-famous drink for only $4. There will be classic piña coladas, piña coladas on the rocks, other fruit coladas, unique coladas, and of course virgin piña coladas. Specialty cocktails incorporating the flavors of pineapple and coconut will include mojitos, margaritas, martinis, rum punch, coquito, besitos de coco, and even locally brewed beer.
With 23 major U.S. airports now offering non-stop flights, getting here is a breeze.
